The electrolyte used for the chemical etching process is very important, we have a range of different etch marking fluids to suit many different conductive metals.
The correct electrolyte is important to perfectly suit the material oxide and the type of marking process.
For example when marking with fully/semi-automated equipment it is critical to select an electrolyte which does not build excessive crystalisation to ensure the process is not interrupted due to down time for cleaning the stencil mesh.
We have electrolytes to suit almost every conductive material, listed below are a selection of these types:
- Aluminium (not anodised)
- Galvanised Steel
- Nickel Plated
- Stainless Steel
- Tool Steel
